We established PALLIVIKASH in 1997 in our quest to find effective ways to solve the persistent problems faced in the livelihoods of economically marginalized communities and working at grassroots level by putting its humble efforts to strengthen small holder farmers on adopting sustainable agronomic practices, value chain management, nurture the soil, increase crop-diversity and yield and consumption of diverse food crops. The organization has focused on natural farming practices in the operational area of Khariar ,Boden & Nuapada Block through small and marginal farmers and planned to make fertilizer and pesticide food. Shree Arnna Abhiyan , Special Project for Promotion of Integrated Farming and CDP-MLIPs project are being implemented in Boden and Khariar block of Nuapada district with the support of Department of Agriculture and Farmer; s Empowerment, GoO and Farmers Producer Organization Marjyada Farmers Producer Company Limited and Dwarsini Millet Farmers Producer Company Limited.

Under the above project, the organization is working with tribal small & marginal farmers, women farmers and Farmers Producer Organization on productivity enhancement of agriculture, horticulture crops through the organic agriculture practices along with livestock and fisheries in integrated approach. Livestock and fisheries are the part of key intervention area to double the income of farmers. Crop Divarication through natural/cow farming on non-paddy crops like pulses, oilseed, cereals and vegetable in rainfed area are key activities under above project. Collective procurement and trading of surplus agricultures and other products, value addition and processing and marketing which helped to women and farmers along with landless people for holistic livelihood development approach. The organization is also working on employment, enterprise and economic development through self-managed institution of marginalized communities. There are 3 nons. Of Farmer’s Producer Company being facilitated by the organization for increasing income of farmers and providing service to farmers with linking to the market directly.
